Who can sign up: 18+/19+ depending on province
The table above shows five stages, and only the first one is required. You can open a Cider Casino account and stay at that level. Many players do exactly that for a while. They spin slots with free Gold Coins and decide later about anything else.
Age comes first. In most Canadian provinces the legal age for gambling-style games is 19. In Quebec, Alberta and Manitoba it is 18. We write it as 18+/19+ depending on province. The operator also sets its own minimum age in the terms. The stricter of the two always applies to you.
Cider Casino works as a social casino. You play with Gold Coins, which have no cash value. Sweeps Coins are a separate currency with their own rules. The site states that Cider Casino is owned and operated by Mystic Mirror Studio Limited. The company address listed is in Fo Tan, Sha Tin, Hong Kong.
We could not find a gambling licence named on the site. Check the footer and the terms of service before you register. Eligibility rules for Sweeps Coins can exclude certain regions. Read that section with care if you plan to redeem anything later.
If you only want to look around first, our Cider Casino Canada overview explains how both coin types work. The game library is covered on our slots and games page. The site lists 500+ games.
How it works
- 1
Open the Cider Casino site or the Android app and choose the sign up option.
- 2
Enter your email, create a password and fill in your basic details.
- 3
Confirm your age and accept the terms of service and privacy policy.
- 4
Enter a promo code in the code field if you have a valid one.
- 5
Confirm your email and log in to collect your starting Gold Coins.
Sign up step by step
Five steps cover the whole process. In practice the form takes a few minutes. Use an email you check often. Account notices and verification requests will go there.
Your details must be real. Use your legal name and current address. A nickname or old address can block Sweeps Coins redemption later. Fixing it then means contacting support and waiting.
You can register in a browser or on Android. The site says the app is distributed on Google Play as Cider Casino Slots. It is published in partnership with Marconi Apps. The same account works in both places. Our Android app download guide walks through the install. Returning players can use the login page guide for access issues.
Sign up bonus and code field
$2.99 is the price of the starter package, according to the Cider Casino website. It gives 81,000 Gold Coins plus 4.5 free Sweeps Coins as a bonus. The purchase is optional. You can skip it and still play with free coins.
Check the currency at checkout. The site shows the price with a dollar sign. Your bank may convert it to CAD and add a small fee.
The code field is the part people search for most. Codes change often and many shared online are expired. Enter a code only from a source you trust. If the field rejects it, the code is not active. Our list of current Cider Casino promo codes for Canada is updated through 2026.
The terms of service list payment options as any card, online wallet, or financial or bank account. These are used to purchase Gold Coins. Interac availability is not stated in the terms, so check the cashier before you pay.
| Starter package | 81,000 Gold Coins + 4.5 Sweeps Coins | One-time offer for $2.99, terms on the site | Get the package |
| Promo code at sign up | Varies by code | Enter a valid code in the registration field | See current codes |
| Free coin offers | Gold Coins, no purchase | Availability changes, check the promotions section | View free coins |
Verification before Sweeps Coins redemption
Gold Coins need no verification. You can play with them right after sign up. Sweeps Coins are different. Most social casinos check your identity before any redemption. Expect the same at Cider Casino and read the official rules.
Typical requests include a photo ID and proof of address. A recent utility bill or bank statement usually works. You may also need to prove you own the payment method. Names on all documents must match your account.
Verify early if you plan to redeem. Waiting until the first request can slow things down. Clear, uncropped scans help. Blurry photos are the most common reason for a second request.
Support is available by email at [email protected]. The site also lists a phone line: +1 8884880923. Keep your account email in the message so support can find you quickly. Free coin offers that do not need a purchase are covered on our no deposit coins page.
Ontario and other provinces: what to know first
Ontario has its own regulated market. Only operators licensed through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO may offer real-money casino games there. Social casinos use a different model, but rules for prizes still apply. Check the Cider Casino terms for any list of excluded provinces.
Outside Ontario, Canadians often use offshore sites. Those sites hold various foreign licences. Cider Casino does not name a regulator on the pages we checked. We suggest you check the licence in the site footer yourself before buying coins.
Set limits from day one. Decide how much you will spend on coin packages each month. Gold Coins are for entertainment and have no cash value. If play stops being fun, take a break or contact a provincial support line such as ConnexOntario.
Free spins offers are a separate topic with their own rules. We explain them on our free spins page. Bonus rules for existing players sit on our Cider Casino bonus codes page.
